If you've been feeling off lately, tired, foggy, strangely emotional, disturbed sleep, tons of dreams, it's not just you. Your body is literally a cosmic antenna, responding to the shifts in both season and solar energy. As an aerospace engineer turned medical intuitive, I have spent years studying seasonal changes. solar flares and geomagnetic storms and how they affect your nervous system, your mood, your sleep, your hormones, all the things. In this episode, I'm going to show you how to stay grounded and energized through seasonal transitions using simple Ayurvedic food shifts, body rituals, and space weather awareness. You'll discover how to adjust your diet with the seasons anchor your energy during solar storms and align your daily rhythm with the natural cycles. So burnout turns into balance. Let's dive in. In Ayurveda, seasons aren't just dates on a calendar. They're living, breathing energies that interact with your body. Your body also has these doshas in them. but let's focus on the seasons. So each season carries this elemental signature or dosha. Fall into winter. This is where the Northern hemisphere is right now. We are in fall and we're headed into early winter. This is Vata season. Vata means it's airy, windy, and space floating off into space because we're so airy. So fall is light. cool, dry, and fast moving. Winter into spring, which is where the Southern hemisphere is right now, is kapha season. Kapha is earth and water. So it's moist, it's heavy, and it's grounding. And then there's summer. The third dosha, pitta. Pitta is fire. So it's hot, it's sharp, and it's also water. So it's transformative. It takes the shape of its container. But there's another layer most people don't talk about. And it's one I can't ignore as an aerospace engineer. It's space weather. When the sun releases powerful flares or coronal mass ejection, CMEs, that energy travels to the earth and interacts with our planet's magnetic field. During seasonal transitions, especially spring and fall equinox, earth's magnetic shields are more open, which means solar energy can have a bigger effect on our systems. And guess what? This year, 2025, we are in a solar maximum. and we happen to have an interstellar comet flying through. An interstellar object called 3I Atlas is currently next to the sun and the sun is responding to this object and throwing solar winds, solar flares, geomagnetic storms at the earth a lot. So You might notice that you have a lot of sleep disruptions right now. You're having vivid dreams. You're having a lot of dreams. You might also be experiencing heart palpitations, restlessness, going to bed and going, I'm twitching. It's not restless leg syndrome. Potentially it's probably just restlessness from this sun solar activity, brain fog, fatigue, emotion, emotional surges. These are all things that are being set off in our bodies by the solar activity going on right now. And none of this means that there's something wrong with you. It means your body, just like the earth is recalibrating. So as we talk about food and rituals today, keep this in mind. Your healing isn't just about what you eat or how you move. It's about how you anchor your energy when everything around you is shifting. That's what these seasons are all about fall and spring. So let's look at diet fall into winter. is Vata season. I know that my primary dosha is Vata. have all three of the doshas inside my body, but I am mostly air and space. during fall, I am matching the energy, which isn't a good thing. As the air cools and solar storms peak, your nervous system becomes more sensitive. This is the time to ground through warm, cooked, nourishing meals, soups, roasted root vegetables, stews, and grains. And then you add in healthy fats like ghee, olive oil, sesame oil, to nourish that dryness and buffer your nervous system from extra electromagnetic stress. Avoid cold smoothies and raw salads, especially if you're a vata or kaffa dosha. If you don't know your dosha, you can actually go online and check it out. There are tests out there to take, but the best way to do it is to go to an Ayurvedic doctor. An Ayurvedic practitioner can take your pulses and find out what your primary dosha is and then your secondary and your tertiary. But those of you who are pitta, you're in luck. Your digestion can handle some raw food during fall or spring. The rest of us, the majority of the people on the planet, heed what I just said. Go with cooked vegetables, go with stews, eat more grains, get more healthy fats in your diet. The majority of you need it. uh fun little support tip for your body which will go into some body rituals, but I love this one in the northern hemisphere. It's not snowing yet At least at lower altitudes. It's not snowing yet Get outside get barefoot and put your feet on the ground daily You can also add in a warm oil massage and deep breathing, which helps discharge that extra electromagnetic buildup and calm that Vata energy that's surging during this season. All right. Winter into spring, my Southern hemisphere people, Kaffa season, as snow melts, both Kaffa and solar activity rise. You may feel heavier or slower, totally natural, totally normal. Let's lighten things up with broths, sauteed greens, lentils, and warming spices like turmeric, black pepper, or my favorite cinnamon. This is the perfect time for a gentle cleanse, not restriction, just conscious, lighter eating to wake up digestion. It's also good to do a little cleanse going into fall, but we're past that now. Those of you moving into summer. currently in spring in the Southern hemisphere, go for that gentle cleanse. All right, support tip for the body. If you feel foggy or tired during geomagnetic storms, get moving early. Spike your cortisol in the morning. Ride that cortisol wave. Breath work like Kapalabati, which is also known as Kapalasnati, clears stagnation physically and energetically. Kapalabhati is a fast moving breath where close our mouth and use our nose and it's in and out the nose quickly. That's kapalabati. And notice it's all the nos. And during fall and spring, we might be having some of those allergic reactions. Kapalasnati everywhere, have your Kleenex handy. Okay. Pitta season. Pitta season is summer. Solar flares intensify in the longer days and your inner fire does too. Cool it off with fruits, cucumbers. mint, cilantro, coconut water, leafy greens, and ease off the caffeine and spicy foods that amplify the internal heat. Unless you're not going in and out of air conditioning all day, then you might want to match the heat. If you notice those countries that seem to be hotter, I immediately think of Mexico and India. They have spicy food. The reason they have spicy food is to match the heat of the seasons so that the body doesn't have to work so hard to match that heat when people are going inside and outside. So if you're a person who doesn't do air conditioning and you live in a hot place, match the heat. And then we circle all the way back summer into fall. After summer's fire, your body craves grounding again, shift toward roasted vegetables, grains and healthy oils, just like we're doing in fall right now. This is your re-entry season, a time to slow down, integrate and rebuild. Let yourself land. All right, body care for these seasonal transitions. There are five things that I like to do in the fall transition season and spring transition season. Number one, Abhyanga. This is an Ayurvedic oil massage. I like to do this right before I get in the shower. Different oils for different seasons. So warming oils for the fall would be sesame oil. A cooling oil for the summertime would be coconut oil. Now again, go find an Ayurvedic practitioner who can tell you based off your dosha, what oils are best. Almond oil is one of those neutral oils you can use all year round. You're going to rub oil all over your body, head to toe or toe to head. right before you get in the shower. During high solar activity, this ritual helps shield the nervous system, grounding your energy field. It's fantastic. Number two, dry brushing. I do a dry brush right before I do my Abhayanga oil massage because I'm Vata and I have... I have a need to stimulate my lymphatic system and dry brushing does exactly that. So you can do this in the fall. You can do this in the spring. It's more advised to do this in springtime because it does really energize you. And I wouldn't do this right before bed any time of the year. You're going to brush with a special brush or special gloves. I prefer, ooh. I prefer the gloves because it's fast. It does the trick really quickly. And it's kind of a rough thing to do for your skin, but you're stimulating lymph flow and it clears out the winter heaviness if you do this in springtime. And it helps energize you both physically and energetically. Hey. Grounding with sunlight. Step outside each morning during these transition seasons, even for just a minute. Morning sunlight and earth contact helps sink your circadian rhythm and magnetic field. Your own personal magnetic field looks just like the earth's. So why not step out on mama, get that grounding going, and feel your circadian rhythms snap to with that early sunrise. This is one of my favorites. And then Maria Yaseburu would tell me, all right, once you've connected in with that early sunrise, say thank you for another good day. Do that at night too. Okay, number four, breath work for balance. In the cold months, Bastrika and Kampalabati, pranayama breath work to build your inner fire. So you already know about Kapalasnati and how that's a fast breath. Bistrika is very similar breathing out of the nose, but we're going to get the arms involved. So it's an inhale as the arms go up and an exhale as the arms come down and it's a quick forced exhale. when the arms come down, like you're pushing the air out, like you're at Bellows. And then for hot or stormy days, you're gonna do satella or moon piercing breath to cool and calm. So satella, if you can roll your tongue, you can do this one. And I've gotta watch myself do it so I know I've actually got it. Roll your tongue and then inhale and exhale. as you inhale, it's very, very cooling. So this is a cooling breath for you. And then the moon piercing breath. I'm going to leave you guys a link in the show notes because right now I am blanking on this one. Oh no. So that's what it is. You inhale through the right and exhale through the left and repeat. so that you're circulating the breath, a certain pattern through and it cools you down. All right. Number five, a digital detox. Oh, I know these are tough. When solar flares spike, EMF sensitivity can rise. So all of the things that are sending you electromagnetic fields of their own at your electromagnetic field. Yeah. It's going to disturb things. So unplug when you can, rest your eyes, reconnect with the real world. Connect with grass, connect with water, connect with air, connect with all the elements that you can, but put the phone down, put the computers away, shut off the TV. Every season and every solar cycle is an invitation to recalibrate. So I'm going to give you a couple of reflection questions. Ask yourself, what's changing in me? What's my body asking for? How can I ground more deeply as the energy around me shifts? We're cyclical magnetic beings. The same forces that move the tides move us. When we align with these forces, through food, ritual, and awareness, we stop fighting change and start flowing with it. That's the gutsy chick way. Adapting with strength, listening with compassion, and remembering that your power lives in your rhythm. If this episode resonated for you and you know another woman navigating her own seasons of change, send this to her, share it with her and save this if you're not in springtime, but you want to go back and remember what you need to do in spring or fall vice versa. If you want to know your unique healing style. how your body energy and intuition work together. Take the gutsy chick quiz. It'll be in the show notes until next time. Remember your body is wise. It knows how to heal itself. The cosmos is connected to your cells and your healing deserves space, not speed. Stay gutsy.
